As an illegal refugee, his journey brought him to a number of countries without identity papers, including Iran, Turkey and Greece. The film, which also contains graphic scenes related to the Iraqi chemical bombing, tells Qaradaki’s story about the hurt caused by missing his family and the feeling of not belonging anywhere.
